Adair Ridge Douglas Fir
Rocky Mountain Douglas-Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii var. glauca)
Rocky Mountain Douglas-Fir
About this verified tree
Saw this absolutely massive Douglas Fir from the below road. It has a large portion of its top blown off, but the remaining part of the tree is still thriving. It is by far the largest Douglas Fir in the area, and is slightly fire charred. This suggests that the tree survived a wildfire in it's past that may have wiped out the rest of the trees it's age.
