This large Red Oak is growing alongside two others of the same species. This is the largest numerical known stand of Red Oaks in the city, even though they are all declining in health. This specific tree has shoots growing from its base which have huge leaves. It is still producing acorns, however many of which have a very small nut inside. the trunk is damaged, but the tree is still in the best shape out of the three gtrees in the stand. This tree was planted on June 1, 2010 (confirmed) and is ID number 343466 in the city's database.
