Massive Black Spruce just south of Bighorn dam. This is the easiest large Black Spruce to access in the area, but by no means the largest. In this mountain setting, Black Spruce get abnormally large, and can resemble white spruce. You can tell that they are seperate from the short needles of a Black Spruce, and the smaller cones that stay on the tree for years after growth.
