About this verified tree
This topped but healthy White Spruce is exceptionally large for the area, the story goes that this tree, plus the other old ones were planted sometime in the 40s-50s by a bragg creek resident. however, this tree's circumphrence dwarfes its neighbors... significantly. I belive this tree existed prior to the others being planted. Could've been 20-30 years old already, maybe more? The others in this thin but long stand are claimed to be 70 to 80 years old, they are all about 1 - 1.3 meters in circumphrence and 18-22 meters tall. If this tree wasnt topped, it could have been up to 25 meters or taller
